PrizePicks NBA DFS Prop Picks - Today's Over/Under Props for Wednesday, April 19th

Jrue Holiday NBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball advice

Today's PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 by Biggie Lisbon. Use his NBA over/under props recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

Welcome to our PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, April 19th, 2023. The 2022-2023 NBA season is rolling along, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.

PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry, or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option.

Jaren Jackson Jr. OVER 12.5 1hPoints

I'll kick off today's slate with Jaren Jackson Jr.'s first-half points prop. Jackson has been on fire recently, surpassing this projection in four out of his last five games and averaging 16.8 1h points during that stretch.

Tonight, the Memphis Grizzlies face the Los Angeles Lakers at home for game two of the series after losing the first game. Ja Morant (hand) is doubtful to play, making it all the more important for the Grizzlies to step up their game. I anticipate a heightened sense of urgency from the team, especially from Jackson Jr., who will likely take on a larger role with their star player likely to miss the game.

In Game One of the series, the Lakers couldn't contain Jackson Jr., who led his team in scoring with 31 points. Jackson Jr.'s usage spikes up by nearly 4 percent when Morant doesn't play, so assuming Morant is unable to give it a go, I love this play.

Jrue Holiday OVER 28.5 Points + Assists

Next, let's take a look at Jrue Holiday's assists prop. Holiday has surpassed this projection in three of his last five games, averaging 26.8 PA during that span.

Tonight, the Milwaukee Bucks face the Miami Heat for game two of the series after a disappointing game one loss at home. Giannis Antetokounmpo (back) is listed as doubtful for tonight's game, which boosts Holidays' chances. Holiday averaged 32.1 points+assists per game in games without Antetokounmp during the regular season, and now in the playoffs, being down 0-1, I'd expect even more from Holiday.

The odds like this play at -125 odds to go over 28.5, while others have him listed at 30.5 PA with relatively even odds, giving us a 2-point margin here. This play has great value and will get bumped.

(I like this up to 29 if bumped)

Austin Reaves OVER .5 1h Free Throws

Lastly, I'll be taking a look at Austin Reaves' 1h free throw prop. Reaves has exceeded this projection in four of his last five contests, averaging 1.4 1h free throws during that span.

Reaves has been on the rise lately, coming up big in the fourth quarter in game one against the Grizzlies, and tonight he will be taking them on again in game two of the series with high confidence.

Reaves loves to drive to the rim and is great at drawing the foul. He should have no problem hitting at least one free throw for us in the first half, whether getting to the line for two or hitting a ridiculous shot plus a foul for an and-one, something he tends to do a lot. I expect Reaves to continue right where he left off and remain aggressive tonight.
