Sleeper.com NBA DFS Prop Picks - Over/Under Props for Wednesday, February 28

Sleeper NBA DFS prop picks for February 28, 2024. Use Jake's NBA over/under props recommendations to win money on Sleeper.

Welcome to our Sleeper NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, February 28. Wednesday’s six-game slate follows a Tuesday that revolved around two events. Max Strus’ incredible 4th quarter and the Detroit Pistons winning. Strus scored 15 points in the last four minutes, including a half-court buzzer-beater you’ve probably seen about 95 times already.

The Cavaliers have been one of the best teams to watch this season and continue to win impressive games as a dark-horse contender. They should continue their win streak Friday versus Detroit.

With the Pistons winning last night, they are officially tied with the Washington Wizards at nine wins, 37.0 games behind the Boston Celtics. Both teams will likely lose again Friday, and the race to the bottom will officially be on. Based on both teams' next few games, they might sit at nine wins until next week.

Sleeper offers some of the best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games in the industry. Sleeper DFS works just like regular player prop betting -- there are no large-field tournaments to get lost in. You're not playing against other people; you're just playing against the projections. Here are some of our favorite NBA prop picks for Wednesday's six-game slate.

NBA DFS Props - Over/Under Picks for Wednesday, February 28

Amir Coffey OVER 6.5 Points

The Clippers have been rolling over teams for most of the season, and their starting lineup usually has top-tier relief coming off the bench. Amir Coffey is playing heavy minutes every game as one of Los Angeles’ better bench options, but the last game versus Sacramento was beyond terrible. Luckily, the Wizards and Kings are completely different teams where one of the teams actually plays defense, and the other doesn’t, so there’s a great chance both benches get extra minutes due to the blowout potential.

In Coffey’s last 13 games, he’s scored double-digits in eight of them, managing to clear an over this low in ten. The last game was the first time he’s played under 20 minutes since late January, and although it seems he’s trending down, that’s just the life of a bench player. The Clippers are safely in the playoffs, and this is an out-of-conference game, so there’s even more potential for the bench Clippers to see excess minutes.

Vince Williams Jr. OVER 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Limited options mean the last resorts become the first resorts. The Grizzlies may not win a ton of games, but we know where their production is coming from. We saw Memphis trying to create offense versus Brooklyn, and now that Luke Kennard is out, all the extra scoring exposure falls right to Jaren Jackson Jr., Vince Williams, and GG Jackson. The Timberwolves defense is intimidating, but Jackson Jr. has had success previously and is a great matchup versus Rudy Gobert.

Anthony Edwards went down awkwardly with an ankle injury but still managed to finish last night’s game. If there is any lingering pain and Edwards misses time, that opens up the defense and leaves Rudy Gobert on an island that minimizes his impact. If Karl-Anthony Towns doesn’t return and Kyle Anderson is added to the injury report, Memphis has the potential to keep this game close. Despite who plays, Williams' versatility should be on display.

Brandon Ingram OVER 32.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

The Pacers' defense struggles against superstars, and although the Prop-Timizer favors assists and rebounds, you have to include Brandon Ingram’s points bet here as well. There’s a reason why Ingram’s usage rate was 33% in the last game against one of the league’s better defenses, and New Orleans can’t afford to lose many more games. A frontcourt consisting of Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner is no match for Ingram and Zion Williamson at full strength and only adds to the high-scoring potential of this game.

Ingram should be expected to have a big game while the Pacers' best defender is out. Aaron Nesmith may not have been the specific defensive matchup, but he would help contain parts of the Pelican’s dynamic offense. Even if Ingram isn’t finishing possessions, he always gets touches, and most of the roster looks to him for relief. In games where defense takes a backseat to score, you have to take the overs on the best weapon.
