Should I Start Zay Flowers in Week 3? WR Fantasy Football Rankings Analysis

Zay Flowers - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Should I start Zay Flowers in Week 3? Our WR fantasy football rankings analysis for Zay Flowers. Read the latest wide receiver start em, sit em recommendations.

Despite making just two NFL starts, Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Zay Flowers has already made an impression on the fantasy football community.

Flowers has popped on tape thanks to his electric speed and dynamic moves. With fellow Ravens receiver Odell Beckham Jr. ruled out, Flowers jumps into serious fantasy consideration in a Week 3 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

What is Zay Flowers' fantasy football outlook? Where does he stand in our RotoBaller Rankings? Should I start Zay Flowers in Week 3?

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Zay Flowers Fantasy Football Outlook

The rookie out of Boston College has already made quite an impression in just two NFL starts. Flowers came out of the gates with elite volume in Baltimore's season opener, reeling in nine catches for 78 yards on 10 targets in a Week 1 win over the Houston Texans.

Flowers' target count did drop to five in Week 2, which we can largely attribute to the return of star Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews to the lineup. However, Flowers did lead all Ravens pass catchers in routes run with 34 and posted a respectable stat line of 62 yards on four catches.

The young burner appears to be in a position to succeed in a Week 3 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Fellow Ravens receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has already been ruled out with an injury, which should only up more targets for Flowers. He also draws a positive matchup against a Colts secondary that starts a pair of second-year undrafted free agents at cornerback and has been shredded by opposing wide receivers across the first two weeks of the NFL season.

Zay Flowers Wide Receiver Rankings Analysis

Flowers comes in as the 28th-ranked wide receiver in our current RotoBaller Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 3.

Our experts have the rookie grading out just below receivers such as Chris Godwin and Nico Collins, yet ranked ahead of the likes of Drake London and DeAndre Hopkins.

Should I Start Zay Flowers In Week 3 Fantasy Football?

If - for some reason - you've been reluctant to lock Flowers into your starting lineup, this is the spot to fire him up. The matchup against the Colts doesn't get much cleaner, as Indy has relinquished the NFL's most TDs and second-most fantasy points to wide receivers through the first two weeks of the season.

In addition to the terrific matchup against a struggling Colts secondary, Flowers should see a bump to his already-strong usage due to Odell Beckham Jr.'s absence from the Baltimore lineup in Week 3. The rookie should be considered a borderline WR2 by fantasy managers this week.
