The Los Angeles Chargers' backfield is dealing with several injuries ahead of Week 7. Their top two options, Najee Harris (Achilles) and Omarion Hampton (ankle), are both on the IR. While Harris is slated to miss the entire season, Hampton is looking at a lengthy absence and should return later in the campaign.
As a result, the Chargers have turned to their No. 3 nd No. 4 running backs to take most of the workload.

Kimani Vidal Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlook
Entering Week 7, many expected Haskins to take the lead role as he was initially listed as the team's No. 3 option behind Harris and Hampton. However, during their victory over the Dolphins on Sunday, Vidal led the way.
The second-year running back took 18 carries for an eye-catching 124 yards and added 14 yards on three receptions (four targets). The Troy product dominated the snap share, logging 67% of the team's total snaps.
When replacing Hampton in Week 5, Vidal flashed similar upside, tallying 18 yards on just four carries.

Hassan Haskins Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Outlook
Leading up to this game, Haskins appeared to be the slight favorite to take the lead role, as reports suggested the team viewed the Michigan product as the "next man up." However, as noted above, Vidal took the majority of the opportunities in the backfield.

In Week 6, Haskins logged only six carries for a mere 14 yards and caught his lone target for nine yards. Earlier in the season, Haskins took five carries for just 13 yards.
Seeing how ineffective Haskins was with his workload on Sunday, managers should not expect his role to significantly increase going forward.
Should I Pickup Kimani Vidal or Hassan Haskins For Fantasy Football?
While several injured backfields like Arizona have appeared to be shifting towards a committee approach, Los Angeles is likely to lean heavily on Vidal for the foreseeable future. In Week 6, Vidal dominated the opportunities and was very effective with them.
While he was facing a weak Miami defense that has surrendered the seventh-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season, Vidal did not disappoint.
As a result, managers should look to prioritize Vidal on waivers ahead of Week 7. He could carry RB2 value for the foreseeable future, as Hampton is trending towards remaining on the IR longer than the four-game minimum stay. Haskins is best left as a deep league handcuff if Vidal were to suffer an injury.
