Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant has been irrelevant for fantasy players this season. The former Denver Bronco is the TE24 for the year, averaging only 5.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.

However, the former first-round pick has played better lately. Over the past two games, the former Iowa star tight end has averaged five targets and 8.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.

Last week, the Seahawks had their bye. This week, they face the Las Vegas Raiders. Given the matchup, should fantasy players start Fant in Week 12?

What Other Tight Ends On The Waiver Wire Should I Consider?

Instead of adding Fant off the waiver wire, fantasy players should target Juwan Johnson. The New Orleans tight end is available in over 60% of ESPN leagues.

The former college wide receiver turned NFL tight end is the TE8 for the year, averaging 7.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he has five receiving touchdowns over the past five weeks, scoring at least once in every game, including last week.

While his matchup against the San Francisco 49ers isn’t ideal, Johnson’s touchdown upside makes him a better streaming option than Fant.
