At RotoBaller, the team is always striving to cover all of the fantasy sports you love, and help you win in in every sport. So now comes a new, dedicated effort to Fantasy NASCAR.
We have seen the sport develop more in the fantasy space over the past few years, first when DFS gaming was launched by DraftKings, and then FanDuel. There was some initial skepticism about the potential of the games, but once the daily operators proved it could survive, the need for high-quality content arose.
Meet The Team
Now, to fill those DFS needs, RotoBaller has assembled the best crew since Hendrick Motorsports had Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt Jr. at the same time. Scott "The King" Engel
Fantasy Sports Writers Association inaugural Hall of Famer Scott Engel has been a national Fantasy NASCAR writer and analyst since 2004. His work has appeared on ESPN.com and he launched NASCAR coverage for RotoExperts that included live events coverage and driver interviews. He was nominated three times for FSWA Racing Writer of the Year Awards, including most recently in 2021, and is a past champion of the SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio NASCAR league.
Jordan McAbee

You've likely seen Jordan McAbee (username jnmcabee) at the top of the leaderboard if you have played NASCAR DFS over the last 7 years. Known for his contrarian approach to daily fantasy, Jordan has leveraged the predictability of most fantasy players and turned that into several tournament takedowns on DraftKings and tens of thousands of dollars in profit. Jordan has been a prominent and well-respected analyst in the Fantasy NASCAR world for over 10 years now, and specializes in higher-dollar DFS tournament contests. He has also qualified for DraftKings King of the Speedway and Fantasy Racing World Championship contests in 2021 and 2022. At RotoBaller, Jordan provides weekly DFS driver projections and picks as well as an algorithm predicted finishing order for each race.
Justin Carter
Justin Carter is RotoBaller's lead NASCAR editor, in addition to being the site's lead NBA editor and also writing about the NFL and the WNBA. On the NASCAR side, Justin is focused on the Cup Series, Truck Series and Xfinity also Series, and provides weekly DFS lineup picks and analysis for the site. He's been a NASCAR fan since 2001 and owns way too many 1:64 diecast cars. In addition to his sports writing, Justin holds a PhD in English and teaches at the college level. He's also active on Twitter at @juscarts.
Chris Wassel
Chris Wassel is a jack of all trades, well known for his NHL and DFS writing experience for many years across the industry. Chris will be covering the NASCAR Cup Series races at RotoBaller and producing weekly NASCAR props picks columns for both Monkey Knife Fight and Prize Picks, and also helping with weekly driver outlooks and race recaps on the NASCAR news desk.
