NFL DFS Picks for Championship Sunday

Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for "point per reception," meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points. Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.

Patrick Mahomes more than .5 passing yards - We have another free square that PrizePicks is giving away this week and it is Patrick Mahomes more than .5 passing yards. Feel free to lock this pick in with any of your plays for Sunday!

Patrick Mahomes more than 38.5 passing attempts - This is another prop I like on Mahomes as he has thrown the ball 39 or more times in eight regular season games and also threw the ball 43 times last week against the Bengals. This figures to be a somewhat high-scoring game with the total currently set at 51, so we should certainly see plenty of passing, especially from one of the more pass-heavy offenses in the league in the Chiefs. Please note that both Mahomes plays cannot be combined in a single pick.

Dallas Goedert more than 4.5 receptions- This play is currently priced anywhere from -146 to -165 on many sportsbooks, so you know we are getting a good price on Goedert here. He has caught at least five passes in each of his previous two playoff games as well as six of his 12 regular season games. He will be up against a Chiefs defense that allowed a total of 77 receptions to the position during the regular season, which ranked them in the bottom half of the league.

Jalen Hurts more than 1.5 passing touchdowns - This play could be a bit tight as Hurts has only thrown for two or more touchdowns in eight regular season games this season while averaging just 1.3 passing touchdowns per game, but the matchup is right in this one. The game figures to be high-scoring as aforementioned, which should lead to a higher-paced passing attack from the Eagles. They will also be up against a Chiefs' defense that allowed the most passing touchdowns to quarterbacks during the regular season by allowing a total of 33. This was four more than the next team, which was Tampa Bay.
