NFL DFS Picks for Steelers at Colts
Before diving into some solid fantasy score totals this week, we must first cover the PrizePicks scoring format. The format is PPR, which stands for point per reception, meaning every reception is worth one point. Rushing and receiving touchdowns are worth six points and passing touchdowns are worth four points.
Each rushing or receiving yard is worth .1, meaning every 10 yards of either is worth one point. Quarterback passing yards are worth .04, which means every 25 passing yards are worth one point. If you ever have questions, you can always click the "scoring chart" option above the player selections for each contest. Now, let's get to some solid fantasy score props for this week.
Matt Ryan more than 233.5 passing yards - To be fair, this is a very ugly game that we have to look at tonight, which is why Matt Ryan is even in this discussion. That being said, the Steelers have allowed quarterbacks to average 279 passing yards per game over their previous three games. They have also been solid against the run over this same span as they have allowed running backs to average just 62 rushing yards per game. Jonathan Taylor may find it tough to get going in this one and that would lead to more passing by Ryan, which is why we are looking at more than here. Ryan has also eclipsed this total in three of his previous five starts.
Kenny Pickett more than 210.5 passing yards - This is yet another play that you will have to hold your nose for as it is not exciting by any means. Pickett has thrown for more than this total in two of his previous four starts while averaging 228 passing yards per game over that span. The Colts defense has been stout against the pass and the run lately, but they have allowed just over this number across their previous four games while only allowing 61 rushing yards per game to the running back position. The Steelers will also enter this game as slight (+2.5) underdogs, so some additional passing could be expected. In any event, this is not a "safe" play and should be used cautiously.
Najee Harris more than 17.5 receiving yards - Harris has eclipsed this total in two of his previous three games while earning six targets each in both of those two games. He and the Steelers will enter this game as slight underdogs, so he should be involved in the passing game late in this one. He will also be up against a Colts defense that has allowed a whopping 27 receptions and 156 receiving yards to the running back position over the previous four weeks.
