PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry, or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option.

Aaron Gordon UNDER 12.5 1h Points + Rebounds + Assists

I'll start the day off with Aaron Gordon's first-half points, rebounds, and assists prop. Gordon has been under this projection in three of his last five games, averaging 14.2 1h PRA during that span.

In game one of the 2023 NBA Finals, we saw Gordon go off in the first half, totaling 2o PRAs. After his hot start, the Heat made some adjustments to prevent Gordon from scoring free buckets, and those adjustments worked. He only had three PRAs in the entire second half.

I expect the Heat to keep those adjustments heading into game two and make it difficult for Gordon to score. The books have Gordon's full game line set to 21.5 PRA with relatively even odds, and here we are getting him at 12.5, which is higher than half of his full game line by 1.5 points.

Nikola Jokic OVER 60.5 Fantasy Score

Next, I'll be looking at Nikola Jokic's fantasy score prop. Jokic has exceeded this projection in four of his last five games, averaging a fantasy score of 66 during that stretch.

Jokic has been on an absolute tear lately, filling the stat sheet every night for the Nuggets. Nothing can get in the way of the two-time MVP, and here in game two, I expect him to see 40-plus minutes and get work done.

I see Jokic listed at 61.5 fantasy points on the apps, giving us a one-point margin on PrizePicks. I hope for a close game to keep things competitive, which shouldn't be too much to ask for in the NBA Finals. Let's see what the Joker can do for us tonight.

Jimmy Butler OVER 19.5 Field Goals Attempted

I'll finish things off with Jimmy Butler's field goal attempts prop. Butler has exceeded this projection in three of his last five games, averaging 18.8 field goal attempts during that span. 

Butler, the Miami Heat team leader, will have to get things going here in game two, and the best way he can do that is by shooting the ball. In game one, Butler was held to only 14 field goal attempts, and there is no way I see this happening again. Anytime Bulter went under 19.5 FGA in his last eight games, he bounced back the next game by shooting 20-plus attempts. Tonight, I look for him to do the same and come out extra aggressive.
