PrizePicks NBA DFS Prop Picks - Today's Over/Under Props for Friday, May 19th

Jimmy Butler - NBA dfs lineup picks, daily fantasy basketball

Today's PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Friday, May 19th, 2023 by Jake King-Finnen. Use his NBA over/under props recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

Welcome to our PrizePicks NBA DFS prop picks for Friday, May 19th, 2023. The 2022-2023 NBA season is rolling along, and our friends over at PrizePicks still have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of.

PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money.

Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.

PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.

The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total.

You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry, or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option.

Jimmy Butler OVER 49.5 Fantasy Score

It’s obvious the Celtics are going to struggle with how the Heat play and how they play is dictated by Jimmy Butler’s hustle…and for what it’s worth, any player that chased their shot would lead the league in rebounds.

Miami is one of the few teams that focuses on that aspect of the game and it’s paying off in the postseason. When the leader of your team is the one chasing misses, making the extra pass, hitting clutch shots and doing the small things, so will the rest.

Jimmy Butler playoff-lines are all made to be broken and there likely won’t be a single game where we can look at the under and say it’s a safe bet.

Marcus Smart OVER 6.0 Assists

Even if Marcus Smart isn’t the premier playmaker on this team he’s still their assist leader and Miami is likely to continue to let him have that title.

Smart is an unlikely candidate to turn a heavy offensive workload into a winning effort, but that doesn’t mean he won’t rack up assists like he has for most of the season.

With the threats he has around him, Smart is going to have enough opportunities and we just need the Celtics to put in a repeat performance of Game 1.

Derrick White OVER 1.5 3-PT Made

Derrick White scored 11 points on six field-goals with only one of those shots not being a three-point attempt.

Coming off the bench is going to force him to act as the sparkplug alongside Malcolm Brogdon. White has no choice but to chuck up threes the second he gets on the court and that’s where most of his production lies anyway.

It might seem like a risky bet seeing how he’s only getting around 20 minutes a game nowadays, but it really just adds to his attitude towards shooting.
