PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

George Kirby more than 4.5 strikeouts
Kirby has struck out five or more in five of his eight starts this season and in four of his most recent five starts. He will be up against the Braves, who have started to struggle just a bit recently. Over the previous two weeks, Atlanta is posting a 22.5% K rate vs. right-handed pitchers and just a 75 wRC+ mark. Logan Gilbert managed to mow down nine Braves just yesterday, so five is certainly within range for Kirby today.
Merrill Kelly more than 5.5 strikeouts
Kelly has been superb this season having posted a 2.92 ERA with 52 strikeouts across his first 52 1/3 innings pitched. He has struck out at least six in five of his last seven starts and has a solid matchup again today against the Pirates. Over the previous two weeks, Pittsburgh has posted a 27.0% k rate vs. right-handers, which ranks second-worst in the league. They have also posted a paltry 73 wRC+ mark over that same span, which should help keep Merrill in this game a bit longer.
Justin Steele more than 5.5 strikeouts
This is a bit risky to a point as Steele has struck out six or more in just three starts this season, and just twice since April 14th. The matchup, however, is a very good one as the Phillies are posting the fourth-highest K rate vs. lefties over the previous two weeks, They are also posting an abysmal 61 wRC+ mark over this same span and pairing that with an absurdly low 3.8% walk rate. It is also worth noting that four of the past five left-handed starters the Phillies have faced have achieved this number.
Kyle Tucker more than 8.5 hitter fantasy score
Tucker has been on fire over the previous week, posting a 1.080 OPS with 11 combined runs +RBI. He will be facing Okalnd right-hander James Kaprielian, who has been awful this season. Kap has allowed left-handed hitters to post a .327 BAA and has allowed five bombs to them. Meanwhile, Tucker has hit five bombs and swiped five bags off right-handers thus far in 2023.
