PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Paul Blackburn more than 3.5 strikeouts
Blackburn made his season debut in his most recent start against the Braves, and he did not disappoint. He managed to strike out six batters over four innings pitched while eclipsing the 80-pitch mark. He should continue to grow from here in terms of pitch count and has a relatively solid matchup against the Marlins. On the season, Miami is posting north of a 23% K rate vs. right-handers while also posting a sub-100 wRC+ mark.
Tyler Wells more than 5.5 strikeouts
Wells has been on a roll as he has struck out seven or more in each of his previous four starts and in five of his previous seven starts. He has a great matchup today against the Giants. Over the previous two weeks, San Francisco is striking out at a clip of 27.5% vs. right-handers, which is ranked the fourth-worst in baseball over that span. It is also worth noting that four of the last six right-handers starters the Giants have faced have eclipsed this total as well.
Tanner Houck more than 4.5 strikeouts
This is not one of my favorite plays, but there are not a ton of options up just yet this morning. That being said, I do think Houck has a solid shot at hitting here. He has struck out at least five in three of his previous five starts as well as in six total starts this season.
He matches up against the Rays, who have been on the downside just a tad lately as they are now posting a K rate of 22.7% vs. right-handers over the previous two weeks. They are also down to just a 100 (average) wRC+ mark over the previous two weeks after having been hovering around the 130 mark for several weeks. Houck has also posted a 9.3 K/9 at home compared to a 7.7 K/9 on the road.
Ryan McMahon more than 8.0 hitter fantasy score
We are going to go right back to McMahon here as he has stayed hot even after leaving Coors Field. He has now eclipsed this fantasy total in each of his previous three games while also posting a 1.556 OPS with 19 combined runs + RBI over the previous seven days. He will be up against Brady Singer, who has been absolutely roasted this season by allowing a .294 BAA, four home runs, and 10 doubles to left-handed hitters.
