PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Max Fried less than 5.5 strikeouts
Max Fried will be up against the Yankees, who are only posting a 21.5% K rate vs. left-handers over the previous three weeks. What is most concerning here is the 173 wRC+ mark the Yankees are posting over that same span. Fried recently returned from the IL and has yet to eclipse the 80-pitch mark in his first two starts, which could lead to an early exit yet again tonight.
Patrick Sandoval more than 5.0 strikeouts
Patrick Sandoval has struck out six or more batters in five of his previous nine starts. He will be up against a tough offense in the Rangers; however, they are posting a 27.5% K rate vs. left-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks the fifth-worst in baseball. They are also posting a 125 wRC+ mark over this same span. There is the potential for damage to be done against Sandoval, which makes this somewhat of a risky play.
Max Scherzer more than 7.5 strikeouts
Although Max Scherzer has eclipsed this total in just one of his last six starts, he had eclipsed it in each of the four starts prior to those. He has a solid matchup against the Angels tonight as well. Over the previous three weeks, the Angels are posting the fourth-highest K rate vs. right-handers with a rate of 27.7%. They are also posting a sub-100 wRC+ mark and pairing that with a walk rate of just 7% over that same span.
