Today's PrizePicks MLB DFS Prop Picks - Over/Under Props for Friday, March 31st

Robbie Ray - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB Injury News, Draft Sleepers

Welcome to our PrizePicks MLB DFS prop picks for Friday March 31st, 2023. The 2023 MLB Season is underway here at RotoBaller have you covered with some terrific plays from our friends over at PrizePicks.

PrizePicks is a great DFS fantasy picks site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, MLB DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Get a 100% instant deposit match up to $100 using promo code BALLER with your first deposit, and also a free year of RotoBaller Premium access ($199 value)! MLB DFS Prop Picks for 3/30/23

Merrill Kelly more than 4.0 strikeouts

Kelly may just be able to get there against the Dodgers but make no mistake, it SHOULD be close. He seemed to figure it out near the end of 2022 as he posted six or more strikeouts in nine of his final 11 starts.

The Dodgers will be tough, but not unbeatable in terms of strikeouts as they did post a 21.6% K rate vs. right-handers in 2022.

Robbie Ray more than 5.5 strikeouts

While I do not love attacking the Guardians as they posted just a 20.7% K rate vs. lefties in 2022, this number is just too low on Ray at these odds. In 2022, Ray posted a 10.10 K/9 and eclipsed this total in 20 starts.

David Peterson more than 5.5 strikeouts

Peterson will be up against the Marlins, who were a free-swinging team against southpaws in 2022. On the season, the Marlins posted the highest K rate vs. lefties with a mark of 27.7%.

Peterson posted an 11.79 K/9 on the road last season, and although he came out of the pen to end the season, he should be in line for a solid start in this one.

Freddie Freeman more than 6.5 fantasy score

Freddie will be up against Merrill Kelly and the Diamondbacks pen. While I do like Kelly's K prop above, he may struggle a bit vs. the Dodgers' left-handers as he has posted a 1.30 WHIP and allowed 12 dingers across facing 372 left-handed hitters for his career.

Freeman posted a .948 OPS vs. right-handers in 2022 and has posted a ridiculous 1.313 OPS vs. Kelly across 16 at-bats.
