Welcome to Week 12 of the NFL Season! Each week, I'll be bringing you our famous NFL DFS Cheat Sheet with expert research and picks for cash games and GPPs. Here are a few notes about the sheet.
- Green means GO (good for the player), while red reflects a poor rating/matchup. The more green, the better...
- CASH CORE pieces are highlighted with BRIGHT GREEN highlighter on the chart for extra emphasis.
- The "fantasy points allowed rank" reflects how a player's opponent ranked in fantasy points allowed to their specific position. The lower the number, the better the matchup.
- Passing and Rushing game matchups are again DVOA ratings as I regained access to that metric and find it to be super helpful.
- A play labeled "cash" is a higher-owned play recommended for cash games. A "strong" play is playable in all formats. "Slate-breakers" are some of my favorite GPP targets for upside or reduced ownership.
- Vegas and risk columns will all be updated during the week to reflect injury info, weather info, and the most recent Vegas info.
Premium NFL DFS Cheat Sheet - Week 12
Because of the width of the cheat sheet, we recommend viewing it on a laptop or desktop monitor.
Cash Game Cores
DraftKings: Achane-Hunt-Robinson-JSN (Conner is still fine, too, but Hunt is a priority now and Jennings is out of core)
FanDuel: Conner-Hunt-Sutton
Deeper GPP Flyers
This is where I want to give you some other players who will be in my player pool who didn't make the cheat sheet. The main recommended plays will always be geared more toward cash games and single-entry tournaments, but here are some lower-owned options for large-field tournaments.
QB: Jared Goff, Drake Maye, Tommy Devito (gulp)
RB: Saquon Barkley + Kyren Williams (FD only), Joe Mixon, Tony Pollard
WR: Puka Nacua + A.J. Brown (FD only), DeAndre Hopkins, DJ Moore, Devaughn Vele
TE: Trey McBride, Hunter Henry, Luke Schoonmaker
DEFENSE: (from cheapest to priciest) - NYG, TEN, CHI, TB, MIN
Week 12 DFS Slate Notes
Saturday/Sunday Updates:
Kareem Hunt! I updated everything on Friday, but Hunt is a must-play in cash on both sites with Pacheco out.
On DK, there are really four cash backs I love - Achane, Conner, Hunt, and Robinson. I think you should play 3 of these, and yes, CMC is not one of them.
The downgrade at QB to Brandon Allen in San Fran could be substantial and slow down the entire offense. I am limiting my SF exposure (mainly CMC and Jennings) to GPPs only.
At TE, if you can pay up then Bowers and Kelce are great options, but if you have to punt then Schoonmaker at 2500 is fine for cash. Just don't sleep on the 3.5k - 4k range either with Jonnu, Ertz, and Henry.
The only game really impacted by weather is the Seattle-Arizona game which makes me want to stack it less and play solo plays such as JSN and Conner more. I think Geno is still pretty safe for cash, but we can also just pivot over to Bo Nix pretty easily or pay all the way down to Tommy DeVito.
FAVORITE GAME STACKS:
NE-MIA: Maye-Henry-Achane (also Boutte, Smith)
DET-IND: Richardson-Downs-St. Brown (also Gibbs)
ARI-SEA: Smith-JSN-Conner (also KW3, Wilson) - WEATHER!
SF-GB: Love-Reed-CMC (also Jacobs)
