DFS Cheat Sheet

Game of the Day

Miami Heat vs Phoenix Suns

The Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns rank eighth and 11th in the NBA in pace, respectively. Surprisingly, both teams have features solid defenses, while flashing offensive upside. This game features the second highest Vegas total on the slate at 219 points.

Kendrick Nunn, Jimmy Butler, Justise Winslow, Frank Kaminsky, Bam Adebayo, and Aron Baynes have all been outlined in the Cheat Sheet. Each of these players can be considered, as they have been outlined.

Goran Dragic is only seeing minutes in the mid-20s, but he boasts a large role in the offense when he's on the court. He isn't safe enough to be used in cash games, but he makes a solid tournament option. Tyler Herro continues to flash upside as a rookie, but his minutes are a bit too inconsistent to trust in cash games. He's strictly a GPP option. Similarly, Meyers Leonard and Kelly Olynyk are splitting minutes, but both have flashed enough upside for their price tags to be used in GPPs on this small of a slate.

Ricky Rubio, Devin Booker, and Kelly Oubre will all be locked into major minutes. Booker and Oubre are a bit risky for their price tags, making them better options in tournaments. Rubio can be considered in cash games because of the size of this slate. He comes with quiet triple-double potential. Dario Saric is expected to see around 25 minutes, and he continues to flash upside, but makes a risky option tonight.

Tyler Johnson, Jevon Carter, Cameron Johnson, and Mikal Bridges will all see limited time on the court, but they can be avoided tonight.

Fade of the Day

Lou Williams

Williams is a fade with Kawhi Leonard back in the lineup. He scored 58.5 DK points in his last game, but that was without Leonard. Prior to that, he had scored 27.75, 21.5, and 31.75 DK points in his last 3 games. Williams is a ball dominant guard, who will lose usage to Leonard. Without that usage, he could struggle to hit value again.

He gets a solid matchup against the Portland Blazers, which is concerning for a fading perspective. This is simply about usage, though, and Leonard will be the focal point of the offense when he's on the court tonight.
