DFS Cheat Sheet

Game of the Day

Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets

The Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets currently rank 14th and second in the NBA in pace thus far. They also both rank in the top-10 in the NBA in offensive rating, while ranking in the bottom-three in defensive rating. This game features the highest Vegas total on the slate at 233.5 points.

D'Angelo Russell is currently questionable. If he's active, he'll be the focal point of the offense, and make an elite option, as Houston has struggled to defend the three. If he's out, Ky Bowman will make an outstanding option once again. Eric Paschall has scored 34.5 and 55.25 DK points in his last two games, and he makes an elite option with Draymond Green out once again. Glenn Robinson and Jordan Poole are expected to find plenty of minutes in this game, as well. Neither is a consistent option, but both come with tremendous upside and can be used in GPPs. Damion Lee has been outlined in the Cheat Sheet.  **Russell has been ruled OUT.**

Alec Burks will find extended minutes if Russell is out. Burks has been an elite option, but he'll be a cheap source of minutes if that's the case. Omari Spellman, Marquese Chriss, and Willie Cauley-Stein will all find minutes, but none make great options on this slate.

Houston continues to use a short rotation. Russell Westbrook has been outlined in the Cheat Sheet, while James Harden will continue to play a massive role in the offense. Harden continues to make an elite GPP option, but he can be avoided in cash with Westbrook active. Clint Capela is another major part of the rotation, but he's a boom or bust option tonight. His style doesn't necessarily fit the way this game should be played, but Houston has the potential to use that as an advantage.

P.J. Tucker is the ideal player for this type of game. He can contribute peripheral stats, while flashing scoring upside early this season. He's locked into big minutes, and can be used for a reasonable price tag on this slate. Danuel House and Eric Gordon continue to find minutes, as well. House is the better option, while Gordon comes with some scoring upside. The latter is questionable. If he's out, Austin Rivers or Ben McLemore will likely see extended minutes. McLemore would make the better option.  **Gordon has been ruled OUT.**

Fade of the Day

Rudy Gobert

Gobert has struggled early this season. He's averaging 10.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, and 1.0 steal (30.6 DK points) in 33.4 minutes per game. He has scored 35+ DK points only twice, while scoring fewer than 30 DK points 4 times, including a 16.5 DK point performance against the Sacramento Kings.

Gobert gets a terrible matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, who rank 9th in the NBA against centers this season. Joel Embiid will also be returning tonight, only adding to their defense. Gobert doesn't come with enough upside to ignore his risk. He can be avoided in all leagues tonight.

*Note, Jeremy Lamb has been ruled OUT. Justin Holiday should see a solid bump and is a good salary saver tonight.*
