DFS Cheat Sheet

Game of the Day

Houston Rockets vs Minnesota Wolves

The Houston Rockets and Minnesota Wolves have been pushing the pace in 2019, ranking fourth and second in the NBA in pace, respectively. They also rank 17th and 16th in the league in defensive rating. This game features the highest Vegas total on the slate at 234 points.

I have already outlined James Harden, Ben McLemore, P.J. Tucker, Danuel House, Jeff Teague, and Karl-Anthony Towns in the Cheat Sheet. Find them there for their reasoning.

Clint Capela has been ruled out for Houston, which puts them in an interesting spot. It's likely they run a "small ball" lineup, which would allow Austin Rivers to find more time on the floor. He makes a solid salary relief option.

NOTE: Russell Westbrook will be rested tonight.

Tyson Chandler and Isaiah Hartenstein will be forced into minutes at center, but neither make great options. Chandler is the better of the two, as he's likely to play more minutes.

It looks as if Andrew Wiggins will miss this game for personal reasons. If that's the case, Josh Okogie, Jake Layman, and Jarrett Culver will all gain value. All three player make solid options in this particular matchup, as well. Robert Covington and Treveon Graham are likely to minutes in the high-20s, and both can be considered in tournaments.

Fade of the Day

Jrue Holiday

Simply put, Holiday has flashed when needed this season. When Brandon Ingram is out, he takes over the team. That's evident in his last game, where he scored 63 DK points against the Los Angeles Clippers. Ingram is back tonight, though, and he'll take over as the focal point of the offense. Holiday is a great player, but with other solid options on the court, he has always focused more on defense. He could lose more value if Lonzo Ball (Q) suits up tonight, as well.

Holiday also gets a tough matchup against the Miami Heat. While it looks good on paper, they rank second in the NBA against shooting guards. Furthermore, Holiday is averaging 1.29 DK points per minute at home, as opposed to 0.96 DK points per minute on the road. He'll be traveling to Miami, and Holiday is a player to avoid tonight.
