DFS Cheat Sheet

Game of the Day

Minnesota Wolves vs Dallas Mavericks

The Minnesota Wolves and Dallas Mavericks currently rank fourth and 18th in the NBA in pace. This game boasts the highest Vegas total on the slate at 230 points.

Andrew Wiggins and Jeff Teague have been locked into solid minutes for Minnesota. Wiggins has been enjoying a surprisingly effective season, and makes an outstanding option tonight. Teague comes with a bit more risk, and can be used in GPPs. Jarrett Culver and Shabazz Napier are reasonable options for their price tags. Culver has been consistent enough to be considered in cash games, while Napier is strictly a GPP dart. Josh Okogie will find minutes, but hasn't been producing well enough to be considered tonight.

Karl-Anthony Towns is the obvious big man that can be used. He's an elite player, and can be used in all leagues in this matchup. Gorgui Dieng isn't playing big minutes, and he's best avoided on this large of a slate. With that being said, he comes with enough upside to hit value in GPPs. Robert Covington continues to see a bit of inconsistent minutes, but can be used in tournaments on this slate. Keita Bates-Diop is another player that can be considered, as he has been seeing minutes in the mid-20s with Jake Layman injured.

Luka Doncic is the focal point of the Dallas offense, and he has been outlined in the Cheat Sheet. Tim Hardaway Jr. has been starting, and he relies heavily on scoring. In this particular matchup, he makes a solid option in tournaments. Delon Wright and Seth Curry continue to split minutes. Wright is the better option of the duo, but they can each be considered as GPP darts tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis continues to struggle, but he comes with tremendous upside. He's a bit cheap for that upside, as well, making him an elite tournament option on this slate. Dorian Finney-Smith will see plenty of minutes, but he hasn't found success in that time. He certainly comes with enough upside to be used in GPPs, but this is a large enough slate that he is far from a great option. Maxi Kleber is another forward that can be used in tournaments. He isn't seeing a ton of minutes, but he's cheap and has been producing well recently. Dwight Powell is the final big that can be used. With Doncic taking so much of the usage, the rest of the team is best suited for GPPs. That is the case with Powell, who boasts 30+ DK point upside with a low price tag.

Fade of the Day

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Antetokounmpo comes with upside that very few players in the NBA possess. With that being said, he has scored fewer than 60 DK points in 7 of his last 10 games. While those numbers look impressive, he simply hasn't been hitting value for his price tag.

Antetokounmpo gets a tough matchup against the Detroit Pistons. He dominated them earlier this season, but only scored 52 DK points in that game. He played 27.1 minutes in that game.

Luka Doncic is slightly cheaper than Antetokounmpo, and makes a better option on this slate. If you're paying up for an elite option, Doncic should be used over Antetokounmpo.
