Jamie's best MLB player prop bets for today (6/8/2026). Bet his home run props (HR props) and win money betting on MLB player props, including Nick Kurtz, Jackson Chourio and others!
Happy Monday, RotoBallers! I hope you read my colleagues' HR writeups over the weekend, because several of them hit nicely (Nick Kurtz was basically free money yesterday for both betting and DFS). Today we turn the calendar over to another week, and there are a few juicy spots to attack (peep the Brewers' implied run total...)
Yordan Alvarez is another one we'll feature, as he all of a sudden finds himself in a position where it's his MVP to lose. The veteran lefty now leads the AL for the Triple Crown, and the homer odds are pretty nice. Remember, we'll be in the RotoBaller Discord all day discussing these props, DFS, and any other baseball questions that are on your mind! Come in and join us.
Below, you'll be able to read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Monday, June 8, 2026. The current odds given reflect the best price as of the time of publication, but remember to always shop around at other sportsbooks so you can get the most value on your home run wagers. Odds can vary significantly from one sportsbook to another.
MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (6/8/2026)
Yordan Alvarez OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+240 HardRock)
Yordan Alvarez is in MVP form this year, and this looks like one of the better spots of the year for ANY hitter to go deep. Alvarez is absolutely smoking the ball this year with a .316 BA, 1.080 OPS, 22 homers, and 48 RBIs, and gets a cake matchup against Grayson Rodriguez.
Rodriguez has gotten blitzed by lefties so far this season, allowing a 58% HHR and an insane .376 ISO. The sample size is small, but it's alarming that he's given up seven XBH to LHB in only 50 batters faced. Alvarez has punished righties for a .400 wOBA and .253 ISO, and the wind is blowing straight out in Angel Stadium tonight. I expected this line to be around +200 today (and would still bet it), so the HardRock odds look pretty nice.

Jackson Chourio OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+300 TheScore)
Jackson Chourio is a madman. Yesterday, he told Manager Pat Murphy that he'd swing at the first pitch and get a hit. How did he follow that up? With a single, a double, and another double. On three pitches. That level of hubris is fun as a baseball fan, but even more exciting to bet for a homer today.
Chourio hasn't been amazing in the power department with only four homers so far, but he's still sporting an .830 OPS and the Brewers are in the ultimate hitters' park not named Coors Field tonight. They're taking on the Athletics on the road, and the temperature is expected to be in the upper 80s with the wind blowing straight out. Milwaukee's IRT of 6.5 runs is by far the highest on the slate, and Chourio should be right in the thick of things.
If you read Koby Hanson's article yesterday, you'll see that Chourio has hit eight batted balls of over 100 mph against lefties over the last two weeks. He's also got a .397 wOBA and .223 ISO against them since the beginning of last season. Facing off against Jeffrey Springs in that park is an incredible spot to attack.
