Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Gavin Williams, SP - CLE ($8.7K DK/$10.9K FD)
Gavin Williams will square off at home against the New York Yankees tonight. The Yankees will be down Aaron Judge for a bit, so they are a team I don't mind attacking for the time being.
Williams has been tremendous this season for the Guardians, pitching to a 3.07 xFIP, 29.0% K%, 13.9% SwStr%, 1.08 WHIP, and 1.21 HR/9. He has a 2.80 xFIP, 27.0% K%, and a 15.5 % SwStr% over his L30. Williams has a 28.4% projected K% and 7.07 strikeouts in this matchup.
The Yankees have struggled a bit as of late against RHP. They have a 24.1% K%, .670 OPS, and a 90 wRC+ over the last 30 days. Now, with Aaron Judge down and replacing him with Spencer Jones, I expect even more regression. Williams is too cheap on DK and will be a contrarian play on FD tonight.

Milwaukee Brewers (Model-Projected IRT of 5.7 runs) vs. Jeffrey Springs
The Brew Crew are my top stack tonight as they make a trip to Sacramento to face Jeffrey Springs and the Athletics. It will be in the mid 80s at first pitch with a 10+ mph wind blowing out to dead CF. In this park, the wind is like Wrigley, so this is a major bump to bats.
Springs this season has been on to attack, especially in his home ballpark. He has allowed a 4.29 xFIP, 1.24 WHIP, 1.80 HR/9, and a 44.3% FB% this season. Over his last two starts, he has allowed a 1.73 WHIP, 3.12 HR/9, and a 37.9% Hard Hit%. In this park with the weather he will be pitching in tonight, if this recent trend continues, we will see several home runs.
The Brewers are heating up as they have a .777 OPS and a 128 wRC+ against LHP over their last 14 days. They have a 5.7 implied run total in my model tonight.

Yordan Alvarez, OF - HOU ($6.2K DK/$4.3K FD)
Grayson Rodriguez has struggled mightily with LHH since his call-up to the big leagues this season. He has allowed a .502 wOBA, .314 ISO, and a 1.235 OPS this season against RHP. Alvarez is red hot against RHP. He has a .543 wOBA, .459 ISO, and a 1.338 OPS over his last 48 ABs. He is expensive but has elite upside.
