Yonathan Daza Day-To-Day After Sunday's Injury
2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Yonathan Daza (hand) left Sunday's game early against the Philadelphia Phillies after being hit by a pitch on his left hand. X-rays came back negative, though, and manager Bud Black said Daza was considered day-to-day. "He'll be sore, but it could have been worse," Black said. "We don't know when [he will play], but he's going to be fine." It sounds as though Daza will avoid the injured list, but fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if Daza misses a few games to start the week. The Rockies are calling up outfield prospect Brenton Doyle with both Daza and Kris Bryant getting injured over the weekend. How long Doyle stays with the big-league team will depend on how quickly both Daza and Bryant can return to Colorado's lineup.
