Wil Myers Scratched With Illness
2 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman/outfielder Wil Myers (illness) has been scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Texas Rangers with an illness. Myers missed the team's win over the Rangers on Tuesday with neck spasms, but now he'll be forced to sit out the following day with an illness. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. In his first season with Cincinnati, Myers is hitting just .222 (18-for-81) with two doubles, two home runs, nine RBI, a stolen base, eight runs scored and 31 strikeouts in 89 plate appearances through 23 games played. With Myers out again, Spencer Steer is starting at first base and hitting third, while Nick Senzel mans the hot corner and bats eighth in the lineup against Rangers right-hander Jon Gray on Wednesday.
