1 month agoNew York Knicks shooting guard Wayne Ellington has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game versus the Portland Trail Blazers due to left Achilles soreness. The ailment will keep him out for the second straight game, with the Knicks’ other plethora of guards likely to absorb his modest minutes allotment. After three consecutive seasons of averaging at least 2.4 made threes per game, Ellington has seen that number crater to just 1.2 on a nightly basis this season, giving him little fantasy value in any-sized season-long format. His next chance to return comes Wednesday against Golden State.--Jesse Borek - RotoBaller
