San Francisco Giants outfielder Wade Meckler has been promoted to the big leagues. The 23-year-old prospect has made three stops through the minor leagues en route to San Francisco. Most recently, he hit .400 with a homer in just 10 games at the Triple-A level. He began the season at High-A but has raked his way to the big leagues. An eighth-round pick in 2020, Meckler's plate discipline appears to be a strength. He struck out only five times versus eight walks at Triple-A where he walked in 24.2% of the 33 plate appearances he had at that level. He'll join a crowded Giants outfield but should see solid playing time versus right-handed pitching.--Brenton Kemp
