Tyrie Cleveland Involved In Week 17
4 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland had the best game of his rookie season in the 32-31 Week 17 loss to the Raiders in the regular season finale. Cleveland caught four of his five targets against Las Vegas on Sunday for a season-high 45 yards. The 23-year-old speedster was rarely used in 2020, even though Courtland Sutton (knee) missed the whole year. The seventh-round selection out of Florida finishes with just six catches on nine targets for 63 yards in his 10 games played. He saw a bigger role to close out the season with fellow rookie wideout K.J. Hamler (concussion) out of action. Cleveland could have a bigger role in his second season in 2021, but the speedy deep threat will mostly be receiver depth behind Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Hamler.
