Tyree Jackson To Have A Role When He Returns
3 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles really like tight end Tyree Jackson (back), and he's expected to have a role behind Dallas Goedert when he returns from injury after the team traded Zach Ertz to the Arizona Cardinals. The Eagles want to see what the 6-foot-7 tight end can do after he suffered a fractured back in training camp. The 23-year-old has never played in an NFL game, but he's nearing a return and has all the makings of being a really good tight end. Jackson has been seen working on the side during practice in recent weeks, and the Eagles are getting closer to activating his three-week practice window while currently on Injured Reserve. Goedert's role as the team's top pass-catching tight end shouldn't be threatened, but Jackson will be one to watch when he makes his debut.
