Tucker Flint Turning The Corner At Double-A
4 months agoLos Angeles Angels outfield prospect Tucker Flint has begun to heat up at the plate over the two weeks at Double-A. In his past ten games, the 23-year-old has held a solid .310/.524/.621 slash line with a double, triple, two home runs, three RBI, a 13:11 BB:K ratio, and two swiped bags. Prior to this hot stretch, Flint was 4-for-47 over the previous 14 games. Overall, in his second extended look at Double-A ball, Flint has posted a modest .247/.369/.438 line with 18 doubles, 15 long balls, 51 RBI, and 15 swiped bags. Last summer, through a similar sample size at Double-A Rocket City, the former 13th-round pick posted a .233/.358/.395 line with 23 doubles, 13 home runs, and only four stolen bases. Given his recent surge and his increase in speed, Flint could be in line for a brief stint at Triple-A to close out the summer.
