Trey Lipscomb Promoted To The Major-League Roster
5 months agoWashington Nationals third baseman Trey Lipscomb is being promoted to the major league roster, according to Andrew Golden of the Washington Post. Lipscomb has made 38 starts throughout the 2024 season in the majors and has held a .237/.311/.271 line with just one home run, nine RBI, 10 stolen bases, and an 11:21 BB:K ratio. At Triple-A this season, the 24-year-old performed quite well with a .290/.336/.427 line with three long balls, 20 RBI, two stolen bases, and an 8:26 BB:K ratio. Lipscomb could see time at the hot corner during his next major league stint but should be left on the waiver wire until he receives consistent playing time.
