Touki Toussaint Getting Starting Nod On Saturday
10 months agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Touki Toussaint is set to start Saturday's game versus the St. Louis Cardinals. Chicago seeks for the 27-year-old to eat some innings while Mike Clevinger (biceps) and Michael Kopech (shoulder) remain sidelined. Toussaint has made three appearances for the White Sox, holding a tolerable 3.60 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 11 strikeouts over 10 innings with them. In a tough matchup with likely pitch-count limitations, the former first-rounder should probably be avoided by fantasy managers in this one despite the passable figures.
