1 month agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray pitched six strong innings in a 5-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. Gray allowed two runs while striking out eight but wound up taking the loss. His record drops to 5-6 with a 3.40 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and 120 strikeouts in 103 1/3 innings of work. Gray has been a quality fantasy pitcher this season and has earned must-start status thanks to his strong work. He will look to keep it going in his next start, which will come against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
