Shawn Dubin Looks Solid In First Career Start
10 months agoHouston Astros pitcher Shawn Dubin was asked to take the mound versus the Texas Rangers for his first career MLB start on Sunday. The right-hander delivered a surprisingly solid performance here. Dubin went four innings, allowing three hits, and only one earned run in the 5-3 victory. The right-hander has missed some time due to an elbow strain and is still building up his strength from that injury. He was knocked around before this performance, but after a strong start here, the Astros might give him another turn in the rotation.
