Sam Hilliard Picks Up Second Stolen Base Wednesday
2 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Sam Hilliard went 0-for-2 with a run scored, his second stolen base of the season, a walk and a strikeout in the team's 5-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday. Hilliard is seeing regular playing time in Atlanta's outfield with Michael Harris II (back) on the injured list, and he's impressed with a .333 batting average (7-for-21) with three doubles, an RBI, two steals and four runs scored, although he's also struck out 11 times in just 24 plate appearances. The 29-year-old will only be useful to those in deeper leagues for a little while longer with Harris expected to come off the injured list at some point next week.
