New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren suffered an upper-body injury in Sunday's 6-5 overtime win against the Islanders. Lindgren had an assist in the Stadium Series game but couldn't thoroughly enjoy the victory after taking a stick to the face from Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov, which forced him to exit the game early in the third period. More info on Lindgren's injury is expected on Tuesday. Health issues have accompanied Lindgren throughout the season, and it looks like he might have to spend another stint on the sidelines. The 28-year-old has totaled 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in 53 games in 2023-24 with 52 shots, 85 hits, and 67 blocks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
