Patrick Laird Should Have A Role Versus Cardinals
4 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Patrick Laird is expected to have a role against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9. This season, Laird has three receptions on three targets and zero attempts on the ground. However, his workload is likely going to increase with Myles Gaskin (knee) and Matt Breida (hamstring) sidelined versus the Cardinals. Jordan Howard is expected to be the lead back, while Laird likely handles the receiving work in the backfield. Laird won't be trustworthy in most formats against a tough Cardinals Defense. At best, Laird is a desperation PPR option for deep leagues.
