Chris Stratton picked up his second save of the season in Monday's 3-2 win over the Brewers. Stratton came in to pitch the top of the ninth inning up by one. He allowed a leadoff walk, induced a ground-ball double-play, allowed another walk, and ended the game with a groundout. Closer
James McArthur pitched two innings in Sunday's game, so he was likely unavailable. Stratton has struggled this season with a 5.40 ERA and a 7.20 BB/9 rate in 15 innings of work. His fantasy value will remain limited if he cannot improve those metrics.

Bryse Wilson turned in another solid start in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Royals. Wilson pitched six scoreless innings, allowing one hit and three walks with six strikeouts. He also hit a batter. The 26-year-old has continued to pitch well since moving into the starting rotation and now owns a 2.40 ERA with an 8.10 K/9 rate and a 3.00 BB/9 rate in 10 appearances (four starts) and 30 IP. He will look to continue his strong performance in a favorable matchup against the Cardinals. Fantasy managers could look to him in deeper leagues as a streaming option.

Bryce Harper continued to flex his muscles at the plate in Monday's 6-1 win over the Giants. Harper went 2-for-4 with a single, a three-run home run, and a strikeout. The 31-year-old hasn't performed as well as fantasy managers were hoping for but owns a .243/.371/.496 slash line with eight HR and 24 RBI in 140 plate appearances. Hopefully, his power surge can help get him going overall.

Caleb Thielbar earned his third save of the season in Monday's 3-1 win over the Mariners. Thielbar came in to pitch the top of the ninth inning up by two and delivered a 1-2-3 outing with two strikeouts. Closer
Jhoan Duran was called upon to face the top of the order in the eighth inning, so Thielbar got the save opportunity. The 37-year-old veteran has gotten off to a rough start this season with a bloated 6.14 ERA in 7 1/3 innings pitched. His fantasy value will remain limited if he continues to pitch poorly, as it seems unlikely that he would earn high-leverage situations.

Victor Mesa Jr. continues to hit for Triple-A Jacksonville, now with at least one hit in 22 of 27 games in 2024 and slashing .316/.377/.526. The 22-year-old has five home runs on the season and is keeping strikeouts to a minimum with a 16.0% K%. After stealing 16 bases in 2023, Mesa finally stole his first base of the season on Sunday as well. The left-handed hitter appears to be knocking on the door of the majors, and there's no reason to keep him in the minors with the lack of production in front of him and Marlins management all but waving the white flag on the season already.

Simeon Woods Richardson turned in a quality start but came away with a no-decision in Monday's 3-1 win over the Mariners. The 23-year-old pitched six scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and one walk with eight strikeouts. Woods Richardson has capitalized on favorable matchups since being called up and is now 1-0 with a 1.74 ERA, a 9.15 K/9 rate, and a 2.18 BB/9 rate in four starts and 20 2/3 IP. His streak has a chance to continue in his next projected start at the struggling Blue Jays.

Edwin Diaz picked up his fifth save of the season in Monday's 4-3 win over the Cardinals. Diaz came in to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up by one and turned in a 1-2-3 performance with a strikeout. The 30-year-old hasn't had as many opportunities in the early going as fantasy managers would hope for, but he has still converted all but one save opportunity with a 2.45 ERA and a 13.50 K/9 rate in 14 2/3 innings pitched.

Brandon Nimmo had a nice day at the plate in Monday's 4-3 win over the Cardinals. Nimmo went 2-for-5 with a single, a solo home run, and a strikeout. The 31-year-old has been underwhelming offensively to start the season, slashing .228/.376/.394 with four HR, 19 runs scored, 22 RBI, and two stolen bases in 157 plate appearances. He has a history of being a solid fantasy contributor, so fantasy managers may want to stick with him for now except perhaps in shallow leagues.

Robert Suarez continued his excellent season, earning his 11th save in Monday's 6-3 win over the Cubs. Suarez entered the game in the bottom of the eighth inning up by three with one out and the bases loaded. He got a strikeout and a pop-out to escape the jam and stayed on to pitch the ninth, delivering a 1-2-3 inning with two more strikeouts. The 33-year-old has been one of fantasy's best closers this season, converting all of his save opportunities with a 0.59 ERA in 15 1/3 innings of work.

Yu Darvish turned in another good start in Monday's 6-3 win over the Cubs. The veteran pitched five scoreless innings, allowing three hits and a walk with five strikeouts. Darvish's strikeout numbers are still down relative to his career average, but he is 2-1 through seven starts with a 2.94 ERA, an 8.02 K/9 rate, and a 2.94 BB/9 rate in 33 2/3 IP. He will face a tough matchup in his next scheduled start against the Dodgers. Fantasy managers in weekly lineup leagues won't have a choice, but those in daily leagues may consider sitting him despite his strong start to the season.

Jacob Misiorowski struck out eight over five innings pitched on Sunday for Double-A Biloxi. The righty allowed just two hits, although he struggled with his command again, walking four batters in the outing. The 22-year-old is holding opponents to a minuscule .117 batting average, but his BB/9 went from 5.30 last season to 6.56 so far in 2024. Nevertheless, a promotion to Triple-A doesn't seem too far off and he could see Milwaukee before the year is out if the Brewers need some help. Otherwise, dynasty managers should expect a debut in 2025.

Jonny DeLuca went 2-for-4 with a single, a two-run home run, and four RBI in Monday's 8-2 win over the White Sox. The 25-year-old has looked good at the plate in limited at-bats, slashing .333/.375/.667 with 10 RBI and two stolen bases in just 16 plate appearances. The Rays' treatment of prospects is always tough to predict, but DeLuca could be a fantasy name to watch if he can continue to hit and earn regular playing time.

Parker Meadows to Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday before the team's game against the Guardians, per Detroit Free Press' Evan Petzold. The 24-year-old has slashed just .096/.224/.219 in 85 plate appearances.
Ryan Vilade will be getting called up in a corresponding move and has been hitting well at Triple-A. Meadows is worth holding onto in dynasty leagues given his pedigree, but neither he nor Vilade are worth rostering in re-draft leagues at this time, as Vilade's role with the Tigers is unknown.

Orelvis Martinez continued to hit on Sunday for Triple-A Buffalo, going 2-for-4 with an RBI, putting his season slashline at .296/.367/.574. If there is a question as to whether or not Martinez is ready to face major league pitching, his RBI single was a liner to left field off of Pirates pitching prospect
Paul Skenes, who is about as close to major league pitching as you'll find in the minors. The 22-year-old doesn't have much left to prove in the minors after hitting at least 28 home runs in each of the last three seasons between the ages of 19 and 21, and tallying eight so far in 2024. His promotion to the big league club feels more or less imminent, so managers in need of some power production should consider stashing him ahead of time if possible.

Kyle Schwarber launched his ninth home run of the 2024 regular season in Monday's 6-1 win over the visiting San Francisco Giants, adding a single and a walk in the victory. Schwarber's long ball came off the foul pole in right field in the eighth inning for an insurance run after an umpire review confirmed it left the yard. It's been nothing new out of Schwarber this year from a fantasy perspective, as the 31-year-old three-true-outcomes slugger is slashing .214/.323/.407 with the aforementioned nine homers, 22 RBI, 30 runs scored, and two stolen bases through 167 plate appearances (36 games) as Philly's everyday leadoff man. A two-game interleague set with the Toronto Blue Jays begins on Tuesday. In eight games versus Toronto as a member of the Phillies, Schwarber is batting a mere .129 (4-for-31) with one big fly, five RBI, and a swipe.
