Otto Porter Jr. Finally Available
1 year agoToronto Raptors forward Otto Porter Jr. played his first game since Nov. 15, 2022, on Friday, logging 10 minutes in a blowout victory over Washington. The 30-year-old notched four points and had four rebounds and two assists with one block. After winning the championship with Golden State in 2022, Porter Jr. signed a two-year, $12.4 million contract in Toronto, but he played just eight games during his debut season. Porter Jr. dislocated his toe and underwent season-ending surgery in January. He was finally able to participate in a full practice a week ago and now looks ready for the 2023-24 campaign. The veteran, who has averaged 10.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.1 steals for his career, can bring a lot to the table, but it's not fully clear how big of a role he gets to play with the Raptors.
