Oscar Colas Recalled From Triple-A
8 months agoThe Chicago White Sox recalled outfielder Oscar Colas from Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday after third baseman Yoan Moncada (groin) was placed on the 10-day injured list. While Colas isn't in the starting lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Cleveland Guardians, there's a good chance the 25-year-old will see an extended opportunity for regular at-bats moving forward with both Eloy Jimenez (groin) and Luis Robert Jr. (hip) also on the injured list for the White Sox. Fantasy managers in mixed leagues probably won't take notice unless Colas improves on his weak performance in his MLB debut last year, when he slashed a paltry .216/.257/.314 with five home runs, 19 RBI, four steals and 71 strikeouts in 263 plate appearances over 75 games played. Scoop him up in AL-only formats for outfield depth.
