Odell Beckham Jr. 2020 Outlook: A Return To Prominence?
5 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had a disappointing 2019 season, finishing the year 74 receptions for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns, which were all the second-lowest marks of his career. With former head coach Freddie Kitchens gone and replaced by former Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski, a resurgence may be in the works. Stefanski, along with new general manager and executive vice president of football operations Andrew Berry, acknowledged Beckham's talent, while also stating that he was in the organization's "long-term plans" after trade rumors swirled for months. With Stefanski also vowing to put the 27-year-old in a position to "make more big plays" and turmoil with the front office seemingly behind him, Beckham may be back on track to being one of the league's most elite wideouts.
