Nolan Jones Scratched With Illness
6 months agoColorado Rockies outfielder Nolan Jones (illness) was scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the visiting division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers due to an illness. After being called up from the minors on Wednesday, Sean Bouchard will draw into the lineup in left field and will bat sixth against Dodgers right-hander Bobby Miller, who will be making his first start since returning from a long stay on the injured list. Fantasy baseball managers will want to check back to see if Jones is feeling better for Thursday's series finale against the Dodgers. The 26-year-old left-handed slugger has been a big disappointment so far in 2024 after he showed his talent with a 20-20 campaign in his first full year in the big leagues in 2023. Through 31 games this season, Jones has hit just .196 (21-for-107) with a homer, five doubles, nine RBI and three steals while also missing time with injuries.
