Noah Syndergaard Heads To Philly
Noah Syndergaard has been traded to the Philadelphia Phillies. The Angels will receive outfielders Mickey Moniak and Jadiel Sanchez in exchange for Syndergaard. The 29-year-old right-hander has a 3.83 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 64/22 K/BB ratio through 15 starts. This is a good move for the Phillies as they bolster their starting rotation. The Phillies now have Aaron Nola, Zack Wheeler, and Syndergaard on their staff as they attempt to make a playoff run. The Angels will get Moniak who is a former first round pick. He has struggled during his time in the majors, but maybe a change of scenery can help him. Fantasy managers might see Syndergaard's value take a slight hit with the move to Philly. It's a hitter-friendly park, but he has pitched well this season, so continue to trust him.
