Noah Fant In A Great Spot Heading Into Week 2
3 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Noah Fant got off to a great start in the Week 1 victory over the New York Giants. The third-year tight end led the team with eight targets, catching six of them for 62 yards. The only thing Fant was missing was a touchdown. He probably would've finished at least second in targets if it weren't for Jerry Jeudy going down with a high-ankle sprain that will keep him out four to six weeks. Albert Okwuegbunam will occasionally steal some looks, but Fant should remain heavily involved in this offense with Jeudy out for the foreseeable future. The 23-year-old is a serious breakout candidate at his position in 2021 if he can just stay healthy. Fant is a firm starting TE1 in Week 2 against the Jaguars and has high-end upside.
