6 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitcher Nick Pivetta was sent down to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday to add further to a disappointing season. The right-hander gave up five runs (one earned) on Friday in a frustrating loss to the Marlins to up his ERA to 5.38 on the year with a 1.52 WHIP. Pivetta could return to the big leagues when the rosters expand in September, but won't hold any fantasy relevance pitching out of the bullpen. 2019 will undoubtedly go down as a bust season for the 26-year-old, but he's young enough to still have time to return to fantasy relevance in the coming years.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
