St. Louis Blues left wing Nathan Walker came out of nowhere to produce his first career hat trick in Thursday's 6-2 win over Detroit. The 27-year-old Australian made his season debut and already had two goals in the opening period. He completed his hat trick in the third frame. Walker was plus-four for the night and led all skaters with five shots. This was a huge performance by Walker, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to repeat it any time soon. The NHL's first-ever Aussie boasted only three career goals in 25 appearances prior to Thursday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
