Michael Perez Won't Play Again This Year
Michael Perez (hamstring) will not play in the final week of the season. Perez had issues running to first base while testing his hamstring in the instructional league and has been shut down. Perez was traded over from the Diamondbacks and hit .284/.304/.392 with a home run and 11 RBI in his first 24 big league games, making a positive impression on the organization. He'll compete for a roster spot next spring.
