3 years agoArizona Cardinals tight end Maxx Williams (knee) was placed on Injured Reserve on Wednesday and is "done for the season," according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Kingsbury wouldn't reveal the exact nature of his knee injury. The tight end finishes the 2021 season with 16 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown, and he was on pace to set career-highs in all three categories. Center Rodney Hudson (ribs, shoulder) also will not play in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns and is considered week-to-week. Tight end Darrell Daniels was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday, and he and Demetrius Harris figure to split tight end repetitions in the wake of Williams' season-ending knee injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
