Max Schrock Suffers Leg Injury On Monday
4 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Max Schrock (leg) was pulled from Monday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies in the seventh inning due to a leg injury. Schrock suffered the injury after hitting a double, which was his third hit of the day. He was limping after legging out the double and he was replaced by Alex Blandino. Schrock has been getting a lot of starts lately, playing both second base and third base. He's struggled at the plate. He was slashing just .192/.222/.269 before his three-hit effort on Monday. He should be considered day-to-day until we know more.
