Matt Duffy Done For The Season
The Tampa Bay Rays manager Kevin Cash said it's unlikely that third baseman Matt Duffy (quad) will play in Sunday's finale. He will finish the season with a .294/.361/.366 slash line, four home runs, and 12 stolen bases in 132 games. He had a chance to finish the season with the first .300 season since 2011 and sat at .300 at the end of September 20. He would finish the season 1-for-13 to end that chance. First baseman Ji-Man Choi (neck) is also expected to miss the Sunday finale. Choi is a strong source of power but little else.
