New York Islanders forward Mathew Barzal (lower body) is on track to return to the lineup in Game 1 of the first-round series against Carolina on Monday. The Islanders lost the star forward back in mid-February to a lower-body injury. Barzal tallied 14 goals and 51 points in 58 games before getting injured, so the team suffered a huge loss, but the Islanders still managed to make it into the postseason, giving Barzal a chance to return to action. He's been the team's first-line center but moved to the right wing when the Islanders traded for Bo Horvat. The two practiced with Anders Lee on the top line Friday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
