Luka Samanic Performs Well In Loss To Philadelphia
1 year agoUtah Jazz power forward Luka Samanic led the team with 19 points and came just one rebound short of a double-double in Wednesday's 104-94 Summer League loss to Philadelphia. He also recorded three assists and one steal in 27 minutes, shooting a fantastic 7-for-11 from the field and 3-for-5 from outside. The Croatian forward has an unguaranteed contract for next season and clearly has a lot of motivation to play well in the Summer League. He posted 13 points and six rebounds in 23 minutes during the team's Summer League opener Monday versus OKC. The 23-year-old has so far averaged only 9.9 minutes per game in his first three NBA seasons, scoring 4.8 points and notching 2.5 rebounds.
